代数的整数

次数が 1 より大きいけれども，最高次の項の係数が 1 である整数係数の多項式 $$f(x)=a_{0}x^{n}+a_{1}x^{n-1}+ \cdots +a_{n-1}x+a_{n}$$ に対し，方程式 $f(x)=0$ の解となる複素数を代数的整数（algebraic integer）といいます．

上記の式の場合，$a_{0}=1$ であり， $$a_{1},a_{2},\cdots,a_{n}$$ が整数となります．

このような多項式をモニック多項式（monic polynomial）といいます．
