含意

含意（implication）とは，$p$，$q$を命題（proposition）としたとき，\[p \to q\]を「pならばq」であることを主張する言明（statement）であると定義される．

$p$を仮定（hypothesis）あるいは前提（premise）といい，$q$を結論（conclusion）あるいは帰結（consequence）という．
