集合$A$から集合$B$への写像を\[f\]として,集合$A$の要素の1つである$a$の対応先が集合$B$の要素の1つである$b$のとき,\[b = f(a)\]と書き,集合$A$を $f$ の定義域[domain],もしくは,始域という.
